Board Stats

Postby oldtrainguy » Wed Apr 27, 2016 1:42 pm

I just noticed that it says we had 100 users online last night???

My general impression is that we have been getting more people checking out the site over that last little while.

Do we have any stats that you can share with us?

Maybe going to shows and such is slowly generating more interest.

My guess is that we had a bunch of NMRA regional conventions last week, and TT gets more and more press.

out here in California, TT has a lot of interest for operations. N scale is simply too small and light, for us
older modelers.

That 100 must be an accumulation during a period of maybe 24hrs? My guess it includes "guests" also, not just members. If you look at the member stats there seems like only a handful participate in discussions. But that's a good sign. Maybe more are discovering there is another scale between "N" and "HO".

The number is based on the last 5 minutes. However, the board software can be unpredictable when it comes to visitors. It does not differentiate between humans and spam bots. Google however does and it shows the last few days as average traffic. Sorry to disappoint.
