Today I received the wheel sets I am going to use with my trucks

I finished up the design and send the file to shapeways, it took four attempts before the design pass shapeways initial review, should have the trucks by the June 1.

I also have some RP25 wheel/axle combo coming to from same mfg. I had order these before I found the RP25 ones.

Wow, thats a whole lot better than anything I could do!

Maybe I should wait until I can buy them in your shapeway store. :eh:

By the way, I purchased a couple of your code 55 track guages and they work fantastic.

Here's a link to their wheel page.

Don't quite know what "Building" means. Either web page or the wheels.

I emailed them a while ago (June of last year), and Matt said they would be making more but it would be when the factory "caught up". Hopefully the "Building" label means they're coming!

I contacted them and got an email back from Matt saying they were "sold out but a new batch should be here this summer."

3D printed trucks arrived in the mail, today.

Overall, I am happy with the trucks. One area I was concern with was the truck width. As I had trouble understanding the clearance I needed for free rolling of the axle, and the axle is too tight.

I am going to have to widen the truck and print a new batch.

Here are the photos showing the trucks with and without wheel./axle and you can see the issue with width.

I also went ahead and mounted a set on one of the hopper car to see how it all looks

The hopper car is also 3D printed, but not my design. I purchase 3 of these from this shop
