Too late for that, but just to nudge it back a little, beer and vodka are compatible in a Russian "cocktail", commonly referred to as Ёрш (Ruffe in English: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruffe), due to its spikiness :)

Haha, it's our national "cocktail", it's true :)

Be careful, prepare to become VERY drunk almost immediately after it. :)

(And maybe almost dead next day :) )

Trust me - you don't really want to try that. In the words of one of my favourite authors, the feeling you get is as if you "swallowed a fur hat" :P
But, if you really want to know, it's something like 1:5 vodka to beer ratio (3 ounces to a pint or so)...

ConducTTor, do not try it! :)
It's only for alcoholics.
I tried it only once in my life and do not wand to repeat...
Drink pure vodka, it's better. Or pure beer... :)

My current fave - Terrapin Hopsecutioner IPA. If you like hops I suggest you pick some up. YUM!
