Yes but with your expertise could you draw that to shapeways spec

It's not worth it - the current roller bearing ones aren't exactly setting the market on fire and the above ones weren't nearly as common.

Well, I haven't bought any roller bearing trucks simply because I have no use for them - I did get the PS2 with trucks, but the trucks are just sitting in a drawer, never to be used... Get me some Andrews trucks and I'll buy at least a dozen, half a dozen of National Type B... Pennsy 2D-F8 trucks I'd get at least 4 pair (essential for an X29, which in itself is an essential type of boxcar)... if a 6-wheel truck *is* done, it really should be a Buckeye, though - as I said, probably the most common of the 6-wheelers. The N&W ones are nifty, but useless unless modelling certain N&W cars.

Come to think of it, Alex, I'd pay you directly to draw up some certain trucks - Andrews, National B, 2D-F8 and Dalman two-level... PM me? :)

The Dalman truck would be great for type 103 tankcars, I'd definitely be interested in some. Tom Dempsey, Spokane, WA

Dammit I just told Arseny in another thread that I'm not taking on more projects for the time being. I guess buildings just don't press the right buttons....So here's the deal - I said I'd do another hopper so I'll throw in one truck to go with it. You guys decide which one and let me know.

Alright guys, let's take Alex up on his offer!

As far as the hopper goes, I think my vote is clear - the design I posted the drawing of, and the many other pictures.

I'll also put my voice next to Tom Dempsey's for the Dalman truck, if I have to choose one out of the four.

I'll post what pics I've got of Dalman trucks in the morning, right now I really need to sleep...

Dalman 2-level.jpg

This is the clearest picture of a Dalman truck that I have. In terms of dimensions it's more or less the same as the ASF Ride Control truck, but note the extra level of springs and the difference in the shape of the sideframe.

If you need, I can look through my freight car photos for more views of this truck, though they'll be smaller, since the focus is on the whole car...

Sweet! :)

Also, for reference, those are 33" wheels.
