I have got a new TT-scale truck in my collection.

It is Russian ZiS-5. It was very popular in Russia in 1930s, 1940s and 1950s and even later.
But it can work also as American 1929 Autocar Dispatch SA/SD truck.
So, one more American truck in my collection!
(It was produced in Moscow as AMO-2, later as AMO-3 and ZiS-5).

I have a photo of a ZIS 5 made into an international Harvester logging truck for the Westside Logging Co. I can't seem to find any instructions for posting with an attachment. Anyone wish to give some support?

Just press "Reply", then select "Add attachment" bookmark below the text; then select the file to download, and press "Add file" button at the right.

I did not see the ZiS-5 as International Harvester. As I know ZiS-5 is a copy of Autocar, not International Harvester.

But the next model, ZiS-150, looks like International Harvester K-serie (K7 or so) truck, so you can use it as International truck.

Kitbashed model (made by my friend Jakob). Now it looks like real American truck! :)

It does! Reminds me of the 1970s television series, "Walton's Mountain," which was set in 1930s mountainous Virginia.

Maybe "The Waltons"?

There are a lot of old trucks there

My 1st attempt at adding a picture. It is a kitbash of a Russian ZIS-5 flat kit . Made to 1:100 scale for war gamers. Model made by Pete Peters and photographed on his TTn3 Westside Lumber company layout.

The literature Pete followed said that these were International Harvester trucks. I have not found any pictures of IHC trucks of that era with the tall and narrow side cab window. Besides Autocar, Dodge Brothers trucks had these side windows. Pete worked from photos. The white color was a guess as no reference was made to color.

Very nice truck, Andy!
I know that ZiS-5 kit (it is made by "Zvezda" company, isn't it?). It is 1:100, but is very good and I beleive it is suitable for TT. I have one.

ZiS-5 is a copy of Autocar truck, i know it for sure, but a lot of trucks of that era had the close appearance. So, possibly, International Harvester or maybe Dodge trucks used the same (or very similar) cabin.
In any case it's very good work!
