I like that word better.

In the horizontal banner I like the usage of the mathematical symbols: is greater than and is less than.

Except that strictly speaking they should be both pointing to the right.

The orientation or direction of the symbols are correct as shown

No, they shouldn’t. We are comparing ideal-ness here, not physical size.

The file is scalable within reason. The proportions are 5.5 to 1.

Not according to the caption to the left, which does indeed compare physical size: 'Less space than HO', followed immediately by a left-pointing caret, which to me implies that HO < (is less than) TT.
And are there degrees of idealness? If TT is ideal, then HO and N aren't.
But maybe I'm getting too literal. The design conveys the message.

Of course there are, as many as degrees of uniqueness and perfectness. But TT scale is the betterest, so any comparison is futile. ;)

"What we've got here is failure to communicate."
('Cool Hand Luke')

Well, some of us got the math, but, like RodTT, I didn't understand the comparison. Size didn't work, so I thought the arrows might be just decorative. Also I didn't see the need for two TTNut logos -- one would do. But nothing wrong with redundancy, especially in communications. I'm looking forward to hanging up a new banner.

Never measured the old banner, but my arms apart reach about six ft. so I reckon the banner is about 5 ft, or maybe 5.5 ft as in the ratio. If the new one is made to fit the old display stand then it would be the same. The shorter height of the new one will allow more clearance for scenery below on the loop.

I would change the "more detail" than N to "bigger trains". "More detail" is unfortunately not a given and we don't want to be seen as disingenuous.

We may have a problem here, at least me and CaTTwoman, do.

CaTTwoman's mother and step-father, who live within a mile or so of the convention center where the 2020 NTS will be held, were just attacked last night near the convention center area in St. Louis. They are as ok as they can right now, but it has CaTT afraid to go to the 2020 NTS at this time. I will update when we get more information.

All is well, they were more shaken than anything else. No major harm done, other than a few scrapes.

The plans to go to the 2020 NTS are still "GO".
