I bought the last 1/128 John Deere tractor from the dealership down the road. They said that they will have more on order soon.

Relatively modern, about a 10 year old design or so. I am not going to get bent out of shape over being fully "era exact" with my TT scale trains.

Your concern is well-placed:
I believe the Deere tractors with the curved downward-sloping engine cover are post-2000. Most models through the 1990's had a straight hood.

I guess the solution is to come up with some modern-era equipment then, isn't it?
