AstroGoat and CaTT's 1st Lok-N-Roll Order

AstroGoat and CaTT's 1st Lok-N-Roll Order

Postby AstroGoat760 » Mon Feb 22, 2016 1:10 pm

We just made our first order from Lok-N-Roll. Aside from FedEx having problems with customs (they kept referring to the shipping costs on the invoice as a physical item< from what I understand), it was fairy simple from order to arrival. It was 12 days from order to arrival, including 3 days' delay due to that customs mess up (FedEx's fault, not Lok-N-Roll's).

And here the new locos are:

I got the digital gp 38. i see you got one yourself. i ended up having to send payment by email to Mike. my translator evidently does not want me to spend money. have you ran the gp 38 yet?

I got the basic analog GP38-2 w/o light. I have run it for about four hours today, and it runs as nice as the other Lok-N-Roll locos in my fleet.

Now the next thing for the GP38-2 is to decide on road name and livery.

I am looking into having mine painted in erie lackawanna colours. even though they had no gp 38s.

So far, I have been mulling painting my GP38-2 into one of the following:

1.) Chessie System
2.) Norfolk and Western
3.) Possum Central
4.) Rock Island

A short video of the lok @ roll gp38 pulling some freight cars. After a 20 minuet brake in period, decided to run it with some freight cars. seems to have pretty good pulling power. front directional lights a bit bright but i am pretty pleased with the loco. video is a bit dark.
