he's been in touch with me briefly by email.

the earliest he is going to get to looking at orders is march.

as for prices, well, not cheap.

Ben, do you know anything about the sd40-2 that i see he has advertized. this would be a big deal for anyone wanting to model a more modern NA layout. judging by what you said about not being cheap, im guessing the cost for a loco would be astronomical. joe

to be honest, it's not a discussion i want to have. the price i was given was for a 50' boxcar. now it's near E50 but this is stuff produced to craftsman level and from what i know, it is not easy or cheap to make stuff in germany in limited quantities.

unfortunately americans suffer on the exchange rates. but that's the way of the world.

my needs are limited. i might have only 20-25 wagons in total, so i don't mind paying for one or two craftsman level models.
