Alco PA looks more like it is supposed to look for PRR.

Has anyone tried to build the Canadian National wood caboose from Shapeways?

You have done really good work on the roof. It's nicely rounded. Not more like at the beginning of your Alco PA project with the additional number board on top.

This will be a real bear to print: 5 colors - Black, White, Red and TWO different yellows; light and dark!

Print for the green car does not take longer than for the red car. Should I try to make one in green?

I have promised a green car. Here it is.

Beautiful wagons. I keep my cars brown, because of the period of time (70s). Damn, I should build once my ore cars soon. Too many projects, it's a mess.

A new project has been started. The Flexliner.
Israeli version of this train was tested by Amtrak and VIA, so it is relevant for NA-TT too.
My plan is to make a DSB version though. Some of the DSB units had German Indusi and were used for Berlin-Copenhagen express. Not anymore. They can be seen in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg though. The picture shows two of the Flexliners (DSB IC3) on the Rendsburg bridge. (I was in Rendsburg for Easter)

The model:
The only suitable 2.5 m trucks for the end cars I could find were Piko trucks from DB BR290, the wheels were replaced by smaller ones from Piko's DR BR119.
The inner trucks are 2.7 m, they will not be powered in the model. I could not find any easy solution for those. The frame for the trucks is laser-cut out of a stainless steel plate, the individual parts have locks for assembling like a jigsaw puzzle.
The shells come from Shapeways.
