A new car - taconite hopper from Shapeways. Artwork by tt-west. Thank you Richard.
Now I need only 30 more of them.

This I want also to know! My ore cars don't look so smooth like this. I have they ordered in FUD (the only offered material, I think). Jan, have you it softly sandblasted?

Good to hear that the 2-year history of C&NW Ore Decals comes to an end. Now I have 16 cars to build.

It is FUD. The detail level was good, it only needed some sanding. The top grabirons are made of brass wire, the 3D printed model had their position marked as tiny holes.
The only decals on the car are the road numbers at the ends. Lettering of the sides was printed directly on the car.

I like the green paint scheme, it reminds me of growing up in BN territory.

I think she would like Chessie decals Bette, though.

Print for the green car does not take longer than for the red car. Should I try to make one in green?
