Yes they are, they have to be vertically movable for the high/low tide too. The crane for lifting the ramp is visible on the picture of Asa-Thor.
Here is a larger ferry, Arveprins Knud. It was a passenger ferry for cars.
You can see the grey ramp (bridge) for the 2nd car deck. The crane would lift the left side of the ramp (together with the ramp for the 1st deck) when loading was completed and let the ferry leave the terminal.
