I think I may have proven a point to myself. Even in an "oddball" gauge community, I am an oddball.

I will get my hands on 1:1 scale someday though, even if I have to restore it myself.

I started with TT when I was 12, and have attempted to model in HO (Briefly, CN in British Columbia), then British 7mm 1/43 (O scale) steam set in the '50s, but
was just too expensive for me. I have since come to the conclusion that TT is my ideal scale, with On30 narrow gauge being a sideline, mainly due to the nice
and really cheap Bachmann locos. On30, and TT I have found gives you Freedom, to do what you want, how you want, and nobody can say anything. So TT & On30 for me ! :D
