Alstom CC-7100 RENFE 276

Looking better and better! I'm getting more and more enthusiastic about seeing the final product! And just as much to see the DL 500! (A 316 was my first RENFE model when I was 14, got a second-hand N scale one from Ibertren (I think) for $10...)

It's really exciting to see some RENFE equipment being done in TT. What are you doing for rolling stock? Can you use some of Tillig's equipment for that?

I assume this means you will lengthen (add length) to the Tillig chassis?

Looking at your plastic work, I'm not sure why you needed the original BTTB model

thera are a few more Models, but have more changes to do EP IV-V. My favourite Models are older EP III (1941-1970). Then I must Scrachtbuilt all my rolling sctock :wall:
Is possible that my first Wagon be this.

i've got a side for a DL500 sitting on my desk at the moment. has to now be rendered in 1:113. you can't model south australia without one at least, they had 37 of them:

RENFES:

Well, at least you have a few options for later equipment, and one for era III, too. Myself, I'm rather partial to the Estrella schemes, though overall, I'm not a big fan of the grey and yellow with big numbers - I like the older schemes, too.

scaro:

Great shot!

The DL500s look intimidatingly beautiful in any scheme - that Aussie one, Spanish green or Greek orange...

...but of all of them, this Indian scheme is probably my favourite:

But aside from that digression, I can't wait to see more of RENFES' work.

What scheme are you finishing the electric in?

Re. rolling stock:
Have you forgotten about the RENFE refrigerator car produced by BTTB?

Or was that one of the BTTB's fantasies, not based on any real prototype?

agree, it is good work. i'm glad there's a few of us who don't mind taking the hobby knife to a model still!

the DL500 does make me think though ... i still have the 1:120 side for the one i've done, and it underlines the sense in sticking to the scale. i wonder if there is sense in making my parts as masters for a mold. a lot of countries used the DL500 but i don't know how many TTers there are in those countries.
