A train round the tree

I've found a downside to TT scale. The wagons don't hold as many chocolates as lego trains do.

Then again, it's fewer to put away at the end of the day, I bet the dog would have them if left alone with them.

You just need more wagons ;)

By that method, I think I'd need a bigger circuit to suit my appetite!

When I was 10-years old child, it was my greatest disappointment: my friend had H0-scale railroad, and he used it ...to deliver grain to the chickens (his family had some chickens in their summer house).
My TT-scale cars did not have such capacity... and I did not have enough gondolas... and in addition I did not have any chickens at all.

P.S. Don't forget to include some tanks in your train to deliver some brandy!

I'd deliver brandy in tanks, but goodness knows, drunk driving is dangerous enough in an automobile...

Dare I apply power?

I have a G Scale Corona Beer reefer car that actually has a flask inside of it, along with bunkers for ice so that people can stop the train and help themselves to it's cargo, a la the movie Nothing But Trouble. That would make for an excellent " 'round the tree train".

How about those little "sampler" bottles of alcohol to ride in those gondolas?

We had thought about doing that ourselves, but with the prospect of finally moving into a non-rented home possibly as soon as the 23rd of this month, we have left our holiday stuff mostly boxed up.
