A little help removing BR 243 window

A little help removing BR 243 window

Postby ConducTTor » Sun Mar 31, 2013 8:33 pm

I'm trying to remove the windshields of a BR 243. They are glued in place and I'm trying to figure out how to get them out without scratching/breaking anything. Any ideas?

Can you provide pictures of the windows on the locomotive in question?

I guess I should have done that to begin with

Everything you see is glued. I tried prying the various parts but they're wanting more force to be removed than I'm comfortable with.

Never mind. With a little prayer and a lot cursing I got it out :)

Well, at least you got it off without breaking it. I was going to tell you that I could look at it in person in the second week of April.
