and what size are the flanges? They don't appear to be as grossly oversize as Tillig flanges?........dave

Which flanges mean you?

It is correct, for the prototype, I have take 8,33 wheels. Later they get the correct 40" wheels.

a&d has there been anything new with this modell. also fifty foot boxcars and hycube boxcars.the sd 40 would certainly be a big deal in tt as it was one of the biggest NA sellers of all time. and there is still hundreds of operating units on the rails today. joe

there's a few things like this that seem to have disappeared, the GP7 and 35 for example. i used to highlight these things on forums, but i am not sure that's good idea now until there's something that's actually for sale.

i think your right ben, when theres a two year gap in any info im guessing the project has been shelved. shame, as this would have been a big step foward. joe

there were a few that got shelved. i suspect the modality - shapeways - was the culprit.

i did a post on the trainboard forum on the SW1200 recently - as it exists in the analogue world.

from now on, where a product only exists in digital form, i don't see the point in raising it on other forums, or here really, because it raises expectations ... and the jump from digital to real life is a leap too far in most cases.

a bit like online dating!
