3D-printer SolidScape

3D-printer SolidScape

Did anybody have any experience with thw "SolidScape" 3d-printer?

Somebody told me that it is american 3-d printer with excellent quality, for the jewellers.

It produces wax model which can be used for mold production...

Can you tell me anything about it ?

These are very high resolution printers that, as you pointed out, are used heavily in the jewelery industry. Here is a link to a model railroad company that employs this machine to produce O-scale locomotive parts.

Another firm that used this machine is Best Cast http://www.best-cast.com/Main.aspx?PageCode=T66 They specialize in jewelery, but have done numerous modeling projects as well.

It's a great printer, just very expensive to purchase.
