I made to Ontario, OR. The drive wasn't too bad.

The carefully curated road trip playlists by Spotify sat silent today because Apple. I forgot that the new iPhone doesn't have a headphone jack to connect to the car stereo :wall: Luckily there is a Staples store near the hotel, so I coughed up $9.99 for an adapter.

I was a bit nervous about opening the trailer to see how the cargo is doing. It got vigorously shaken (WSDOT, smooth asphalt is good, you should should try it) and baked in the sun. At first glance everything seems OK. Obvsly, I haven't opened any boxes.

Now let's have a bite to eat and crash early.

As promised the swag bag

Dinner was two Epic Salt Lake lagers. I don't know if they really live up to their name but they went down just fine. Oh and a hot turkey sandwich.
Now off to my room to read and wind down.

Bill, If you are reading this and have time, go get table cloths. I just remembered that we didn't pack any.

I can second that thought, back in 2013, we forgot to pack tablecloths for the setup, and had to get some for the opening day of the 2013 NTS. Trust me, it makes all the difference in appearance.

Just the long boring drive through Idaho.
Is it raining today?

Went to Wally world to get a dozen table coverings.
Been through a Tank Car clinic, one on making your own decals.
Now waiting for on the Raspberry Pi to start.
