CaTTwoman281 is getting quite serious about the 2019 NTS - she has volunteered to learn how to lay track and wiring for the layout.

So...
Wire cutters and a soldering iron under the Christmas tree?
...rail joiners and a track gauge from Santa in the stocking...?

I got a message today from the NMRA about the 2019 NTS and the contact information for the coordinator as well. I should be hearing back real soon about the setup for the show soon.

I'll be there - I'm going a week early to visit the Genealogy center in Salt Lake City.

I just got a call from the 2019 National Train Show layout coordinator, wanting to confirm that the layout we are displaying is indeed TT scale, and not T Scale or T-tracks N Scale.

In short: TT Scale will be at the 2019 National Train Show!

2019 National Train Show - Salt Lake City, Utah

Postby CFRiad » Sun Jan 20, 2019 4:08 pm

This is a call to all those planning to be in Salt Lake.

We have to register our layout soon (Bill will do that). The size of the layout we'll bring is limited by the number of people available to operate it. At its maximum size (see our 2018 Chilliwack layout) it needs at least two people monitoring it actively at any time. For a big layout like that we need at least 4 people to be there all the time to allow for bathroom breaks and such.

Please let us know who is seriously committed to come and who is willing to help operating the layout (bring your iOS or Android tablet). Our decision on the size will depend on your answers.

Aside from the call late last year, I have not had any contact in reference to the National Train Show, with no updates about anything, despite repeated calls and e-mails that I am starting to suspect are not being sent to the correct recipients.

Ack ack! Ack ack ack!
So, Richard, you're bringing your modules, right?

Tibi and Bill talked me into the show, but I'm not sure about getting there. Anyway, I'll have a phone and tablet to share for train control.

It might help to have all TT exhibited together, not only to impress visitors, but also to have mutual support and conversation, etc.

Also, I noted that the head of the thread says the convention is at Little America hotel, but according to the web site the show itself is in the Mountain America Exposition Center - a separate facility.
