The layout is getting too large for one photo.

Here it is being setup Saturday afternoon.
The GuiTTar layout was on its own table beside one end loop.

Jayden ran it for a while.

As mentioned in a previous post, the layout gets quite fun to operate with ten cars on it.

Western Rails delivered the prize plaque we were awarded last year.

On the module beside it you can see a piece of fake turf I picked up at a dollar store. With a bit of paint to tone down the shine and a bit of flocking added. it would do for quick and dirty infill scenery, perhaps for the center of the loops.

The backdrop question keeps rearing its head.

There were two "Free Stuff" tables at the show. I spotted one modeller putting this backdrop one of them and hustled over to get it. It doesn't look too bad. Must spend more time thinking about the idea. Tibi found the TT-Scale farm building on the right at one of the sales tables.

After all was packed up we ended the event properly.

The cold beer was really good!

Unless I take the GuiTTar layout to one of the Island shows (Nanaimo or Victoria), our next setup will be at the BCSME at a date yet to be determined. The BCSME offered us their opening weekend, Easter, a FOUR DAY weekend. I indicated that we would not consider a long weekend unless we had free access to the Adult Pop fridge.

Congratulations to all. I particularly like the GuiTTar Case layout, looks like a lot of fun!

We are also considering backdrops as well, looks good in my opinion on your layout.
