2018 Victoria Model Train Show

Years back, Bjoern and I took the TT-Tracks display to the Victoria Model Train Show.

I have decided to take the GuiTTar layout to the show on Sunday May 27. It is a good excuse to get to that show which is always a good one.

The day after a show I am always exhausted. It was a good show though.

Didn't find much to buy. Did buy some die cast tanks that are close to scale, and a few electronic bits from B C Robotics,

Found out that a Micro Brush with the fluffy knob of fibre on the end pinched off, makes a great uncoupling tool.

The GuiTTar layout performed well. A sag might be developing in the middle. Will monitor this and see if it need fixing. One car with resin trucks acted up on the double crossover. Will retruck it before the next show. Didn't bother with the remote uncoupling as I haven't converted any cars to Kadee H0n3 couplers. Need to do about ten cars for variety.

A friend, Fernando, came over with me and shared the ferry expenses. He also ran the layout part of the time.
He was a great help with the layout and the expenses.
