Well, had a bit of a laugh. Had a boy come up to the display and proclaim to his parents that he wanted TT scale for his layout because it is "not too big, not too small, it is just right!".

Well, day one is done, and everything went well, except for the one modified BR107 failing due to the brushes wearing too thin.

Nice to see the HP diesel running! Is it powered with the original DC-60 motor?
Have fun with the show.

So, far the show has been quite fun.
Yes, the HP E-7A is powered with its original DC-60 motor.

Just got home and got the truck unpacked.
I should have the Post-Mortem of the show ready within the next 24 hours.

Here is the "Post Mortem" of the 2018 Model Train Show in Atlanta, Georgia:

The Good

The train show was fairly busy, with a lot of visitors, with lots of pertinent questions, many good answers given.
The layout that we brought worked flawlessly, and looks better than it has in the past.
Ample cell phone signal for my phone to tether to my laptop for live updates from the show, not to mention getting some homework done for my college degrees.

The Bad
The Cobb Galleria had two other shows going on at the same time, which made load-in and load-out very difficult.
Limited space for the show limited the space for our setup, which did not help my claustrophobia any.

The Ugly
Cobb Galleria has started charging $5 per day for parking, which totaled $15 for Friday (setup) and Saturday and Sunday (the show).
Atlanta Traffic (As usual).

The Awesome
Grand Duchess Natasha Romanov has been sent into retirement in style!
Quite a few people have at least heard of TT scale now. Now the trick is to get more people involved in TT!
Natasha's successor, a mixed-breed large puppy named Monica was accepted with open arms at the show.
The trip itself was the "familiarization cruise" for my "new" truck, a 1985 Ford F-150 named Victoria. The cruise went well, with no real hiccups at all, other than one "hiccup" due to a small clog in the carburetor that passed quickly.

Overall, this has been the best performance that we have been able to pull off for TT scale in years! (I think...)
