The layout wasn't as long as the space given us. Monroe Stuart, who according to him has handled registrations for twenty shows, said our layout dimensions were a good size, easier to manage than some other expansive modular layouts. Our discussion didn't get to the part about his cutting our number of requested tables.

The constraints imposed by the non-standard corner+traverse sections now come into play;
These prevent the rearrangement of the sections into anything but a longer configuration.

I'm not complaining... Just stating this as something to potentially be addressed.

For instance... the inside spur connection could probably just be ignored;
but the transverse triple track would need to be transitioned back to a double main configuration to extend using the more common (standard) interface.

Yes, we discussed this same issue over the last few weeks. One idea floated was to make one inside corner for an L-shaped layout or two insides for a T-shaped one.

Indy was great but not without incident.
You may have noticed a lack of postings from me since Indy.
The trip to Indy was tiring but OK.
Indy itself was great.
The trip home not so good. The travel tripped an incipient prostate problem.
Wore a catheter for two and a half months.
Surgery was three weeks ago today.
Recovering well. Should be in good shape for Vancouver Train Expo.
Will still be on light duty re lifting but otherwise OK.
