Bummer... Now I'm REALLY missing being able to attend the show!
Instead... I get to do a web conference today in prep for my tutorial at the IoT event that starts Monday at 0900. <<sigh>>

The contrast between the very approachable TT-Tracks set-up and the group with the pipe-rail fence all around their layout is quite noticeable...

Ah, so bummed I could not go. I was planning on it but have to go on travel next week, so this week was all travel prep. Working for a living is overrated.

Visited briefly this morning and it was great to see the SW locos running. There were more people there and the set up was getting more than a little interest! There are a ton of modular layouts of all scales in all stages of construction, so that is nice to see. Will have time on Sunday to really check it all out. Piko is there in a small booth, but only showing HO and Garden size equipment, will have to ask them about TT. It all is inspiring, now to do something after the show!

First -- The GuiTTar Case won another prize'
Other photo shows modular layout using snap track to connect modules resting on tables - but this one is S scale.

A very good day. Tibi was right. He leveled tables and modules and trains did not uncouple. I was happy - a new experience for the others. Talked to many who seemed genuinely interested in the scale.

Got seventy TT handouts printed at no cost (after signing a confidentiality agreement). 7 AM till 6 PM made it a long day.

The fellow who handled our registration showed up to chat and encouraged registering for the show next year. None of us is keen to go to Orlando, but, as he agreed, it's good to keep up the momentum of exhibiting. He gave me a form for early registration. So, think about it.

We will take any prize offered to TT-Scale.
The GuiTTar layout deserves the awards it receives. Now if the rest of us would build and exhibit something to the quality of the GuiTTar layout, we would win prizes too.

It is nice to be wanted. Obviously our display fills a need for them.
Now that Bjoern and Tibi have shown that they can handle a trip of four and a bit days, they should be able to do Orlando. It's a five and a bit day drive.
Would be nice to get a bit of financial support from the group to make it happen.
I'm game to fly there or drive if I have a new vehicle.

Now that The GuiTTar Case has won another prize is good for TT but bad for me  I guess I have to pay for the beer tonight. I hope we all here can have a dinner together tonight! Yes, beer is on me

Sorry that I have to disappoint but Orlando 2017 is not going to happen for me! But, if I'm still owner of my modules around that time I would consider shipping it to someone who goes there and waves the flag for TT and TT-Tracks.
OK, now I have to get ready for another good play day!!!
