Vancouver Train Expo - Metro Vancouver’s biggest train show ever!
November 6-8 2015 Forum building at the Pacific National Exhibition
The BCTrains.org show and meet is moving to new home and getting a new look and a new name! This year’s show will be held at the Pacific National Exhibition Forum on the weekend of November 6-8. All the familiar meet activities—operating sessions, layout tours, clinics, banquet—will be part of the weekend, along with a new and expanded train show in the 44,000-square-foot Forum.

The Railroad Prototype Modelers have confirmed they will be at this year's show.

This event is co-located with the PNR 7th Division 2015 meet....

I just registered...

Hey Vancouver Gang,

what would you say if we try Terrys Z21 on Friday 6th to power the TT-Tracks layout? Bill usually provides his Digitrax for this purpose. Here are my thoughts to the question "Why?":
The layout is getting bigger. Bill suggested in the 'Indy 2016 thread' to run more trains on it. Sure, why not!? But only Bill has throttles for his system. The Z21 gives us the opportunity to use Bills throttles, Roco throttles and an unlimited number of WiFi throttles via the the Roco app.
OR, does anyone know of a WiFi system for the Digitrax?

Amazingly... the modules and engines won't care!!!

I think the Z21 with a -few- more throttles is a good idea...
Perhaps two for the main, a yard job, and a local switching run.

I always carry my trusty NCE PowerPro 'just in case'...

Well, they might care --
I had the impression at the Portland show that the locos were being changed out to rest after running for an hour or so. Possibly a lower track voltage would help. I don't know what voltage the Digitrax unit is providing or whether it can be adjusted. The output voltage from the Z21 can be adjusted easily.

The show this year is in a bigger space but has been booked completely. Since I can't run my own display there I offered the Z21.

While watching the paint dry on the TT-Tracks module, I made an educational piece for the show. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words and an object is worth a thousand pictures.
