A bit rough on the detail front but motorization is very cool.

That *is* impressive... even if the model is 1.56 feet long with a wingspan of 1' 8 "!

That's right up my alley, animation. Only in my case it's trains and perhaps an HO vehicle or two or three or.......

Geoff inspired this retrofit to an Athearn crane. http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/8956

As I get going more with TT I plan on brining some of those ideas to TT.

Spent some time last night drawing up a 37" dia. spoked wheel for the Class A Climax I want to scratchbuild. I'm going to try and cut that out on my CNC mill in brass. If that works I'm looking at perhaps trying out some steam engine wheels. While doing all this I'm learning the potentials of the CAD program I'm using in drawing up parts and the potential of the CNC mill.

This will give you an idea of how small a 37" diameter is in TT scale. One pdf file attached and one picture

Now we're talking. If you ever get bored, I'll take wheels for one of these that I would like to motorize http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lionel-Series-1 ... Sw5IJWea9I

Me, get bored? But it's a challenge. I've put it on my watch list. I might just buy it so if you have your eye on it better get it now.

I'll start another thread when it gets to the point of making wheels.
