TT Scale. The Ideal Scale.

Well heres another video on my layout, having fun working on the sound effects ! I think the French station announcement fits right in with the Czech electric, Italian passenger cars, and the German steam loco !
Mix of old and new with the BTTB E499 and the new Tillig BR56 / E11 S Bahn set.

Well I decided I'd run some different stock tonight, decided to get a video on youtube featuring NA stock.
I got Conducttors gondola all set with trucks and couplers, primed it with Tamiya paint.
No derailments and I think it looks great in the train ! Just needs painting and weathering.
Looking forward to adding some PS2 hoppers too !

Thanks, the tankcar is converted from a Maisto diecast 'toy' or sometimes described as an N scale
diecast toy. You can find them around for about $5 each or so. They work out to about a 36' long car.

to get my GP9 up and running, need to install Kadee's and work on the drive a little (PVM).

Always nice to see something moving on the only finished TT layout in North America! Very inspiring!

Nice switcher! Is it PVM/Lionel GP9, or something else?

It's a Lionel shell with PVM drive, I need to do a little work on it to run a little smoother, as soon as I do I'll
post another vid featuring it. I'm looking at doing another Lionel conversion with Lok-N-Roll's drive unit to
compare, I think it will be better overall, specially in terms of weight, at least what I can tell from their photos.

Thank you, however I don't count it as completley finished, infact I've been making some major changes to the scenery over the last month, adding a few structures and now working on adding lights for nightime running (my favorite ! ).
I've decided to dis-continue the work on "Gare du Hulot" as looking at the plan I decided that it wasn't interesting enough, in the end it would just be running in circles, which I've already got, so I'm back at the drawing board again, probably a medium terminus station set in France with a branch to a fairly large size port, with cranes etc... very tempting. Although I'm thinking of a setting in France, and based on some actual locations, I'm tempted to do my own roadname, my own railway, as I like too many other locos that the SNCF did not have, like the M62 for one !
