TT Scale. The Ideal Scale.

It seems to me that CAPTCHA on the forum is really unreadable!
Today I've forgotten my password and entered in twice, so I had to enter the CAPTCHA
I could not even read it 5 times!

For example, what does it mean?? J9... 1... what else?

And there is no button "Try another picture".

Here's the deal:

I've gotten REALLY tired of getting registrations from spam bots. I do background checks on all registrations before activating their accounts and it can get tiring. So I made the CAPTCHA hard to read. I've already had the problem (seriously, I couldn't log into MY OWN site) you describe and I've also been contacted by another member for the same problem. Obviously the CAPTCHA needs to be "turned down". I will do so as soon as I'm done with this post. Try it again and if you continue to have problems contact me via email.

I've already got the CAPTCHA that I was able to read and logged in.
But it was not the easy thing...

Sorry about that. I'm struggling between spammers and real registrations. Honestly it's a pain in the Haggis. I guess it's a compliment - the site is substantial enough that someone wants to get their crap on it. I turned the CAPTCHA down in half - if anyone else has this problem PLEASE let me know so I can make the proper changes.

you know i always wondered what that google bot and msn bot meant when you checked who was online.what are they trying to do, put advertisements on the site?we might have to kick their haggisis!

They are indexing the site, making it searchable for Google, MSN, etc.
