The Dalman truck design is complete. I'll order them sometime this week and if I'm happy with them, I'll make 'em available.

Sweet!! I've resent the BL2 underframe, should work this time - I'm working on the body now, and when I order the first testshot of that, I'll pad out the order with these trucks! Thank you!!!

looks pretty good. i am sure this will be a satisfactory version of what modellers probably inaccurately call the 'bettendorf' truck. is it a 5'6" wheelbase?

5' 6" wheelbase, yeah, though this is quite different from the "bettendorf" truck as modellers call it... this is distinctive from that by the extra springs. As far as I've seen, modellers use "bettendorf" to refer to the Bettendorf U-section truck, ASF A-3 Ride Control (of which we have an excellent model from Gold Coast) and several other similar designs. (though perhaps going as far as anything that's not arch bar or roller bearing, if they're especially unknowing...)

The wheelbase is actually 5' 7" - 1 inch too long. I wanted to make sure there's enough clearance for the over-sized scale wheel flanges. Ultimately it works out to 0.21mm too long on the model.

GC's truck i calculate as being 5'7" too, maybe for the same reason?

I haven't measured theirs but if that's the case, I assume it's for the same reason.

Shapeways had a problem with a small detail on the trucks. I've been on a tear with the U Boat design and haven't had a chance to fix the trucks - I plan to give them some love this weekend and order them again.
