Knuddels Modular TT Scale Layout

Hello TT Nuts!

In the Past I used the old GTE thread in the general forum to post some news from my layout, but it got too much mixed up with other stuff.
I will still maintain my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/TTScaleModelRailroad to share my doing with my friends in Germany, Japan and the US, but also share posted news here for everyone who doesn't have a FB account and doesn't get update notifications.

Over the course of the year I started to share my "How to?" stories starting with my Depot I completed while I was in Japan as well as the current modules with the Sawmill and the Winery.
The look at them, you have to scroll down to the bottom of that page or go to the years 2007-2009.

I also started to add new great stuff at the top about things I did recently like:

All about the basic of computer control with the "TrainController"

Two videos around that topic:

Really good posts! I'll have to spend some more time looking at the details of each one but right away I can tell you I'm very I'm very interested in the computer control notes!

Go for it and let me know if you have any questions!!
I tested a lot and really love it now! It is whole different experience to enjoy your model railroad. And I definitely wouldn't have survived the GTE last December without the computer control... ;-)
Are you already running on DCC and which system are you using?

My home layout is still in the very early stages - building the benchwork. I would love to computerize it so I'm trying to learn as much as possible before I get to that point. As for system, the closest I have to PC control is a SPROG II.

That's probably the right timing to learn, so that you can lay your tracks and install all the required electronics you need for computer control!
Why don't you come over here to get a look at the real thing? Or I could stop by when I fly thru Atlanta the next time!

I won't be in that part of the country any time soon. But, you're welcome to stop by any time you are in Atl!

No problem! I might have a stop over in October, but I will ping you when I have more details!

@All, if you are interested in a DCC/Computer Control webinar then I could set something up for you guys and guide you through what I did with my DCC Lenz layout and Train Controller. Just let me know!
