What a nice change of pace... in most other groups of acquaintances I'm in, *I'm* the old one at 35... here, I don't know if anyone is younger than I am? :D

Well, I hate to admit it, but I officially hit 65 last week, so happy birthday to all you young kids (and Fish, even though he's 5 up on me!).

Yeah, they're a pretty good bunch. I've got 4 from 13 to 20 years old (I finally figured out what was causing it- I saw this book with pitchers and everything! One more and I would have qualified as Amish!). The two oldest are now experts at driving Mom crazy, like when they'll call down from their bedroom and tell her to bring up food- keeps her muttering under her breath! But with two budding engineers I've already told them- 5 years after they graduate from college, they have to start sending 10% of their pay to Dad. They laugh, I'm hoping they can consider me a tax write off!

The closest I got to that right now is an 11 week old kitten. I come home from work every day hoping she's killed her first bug - after all, you gotta contribute your fair share right? So far the results are unimpressive
