ive seemed to have lost my google translater and dont remember how to go about restalling it. can someone refresh my memory? joe

I guess just uninstall the plugin and install it again?

I don't recall ever installing anything on my Mac for Google translate, I just go to the website <http://translate.google.com/#> and type the URL for the site I wish to have translated and it does the rest. Also, if you have just text that you wish to translate, you can copy it and paste it into the window and it will also do that. If you don't know the original language, it can also determine that for you as well.

Simplest option is to just use Google's Chrome browser. It translates everything automatically. And it's by far the fastest browser out there.

Not as simple as you might think, since installing Google Chrome would require me to upgrade my Mac to a current model, which would require me to use over $1200 in funds that I could otherwise spend on trains! So for me and my budget, the simplest (and cheapest) option is to just use the website translator. If Apple had their druthers, I'd buy a new computer every two or three years, and at that rate, I could pretty much forget about buying trains. Not to mention that as you buy new computers, you then must also buy other stuff to keep up, hardware like printers, scanners, monitors etc., in addition to new software, too.

I hear you. Didn't realize the Mac was not happy with Chrome.

I seem to have the exact opposite problem. Just bought a "new" pc with more processing for CAD - had to find something used since my software will only run on XP. Luckily, due to these problems the purchase amounted to $150.

And so the costs of U30b's development goes up again. Dratt! I find computers to be as annoying as they are useful...

It does. But Im too far down the rabbit hole to turn back now :) and now it's on to more RAM, a better video card and, faster CPUs....
