I use a 2 percent sodium hydroxide solution (Natronlauge NaOH). In a vessel is the model for a few hours (3-4) placed in the liquid.

You can also use a ultrasonic cleaner with water and a little bit detergent.

Thanks Mac G, I hadn't thought of something like that.
I did try some citrus based solvent that seemed to help, but the piece I have is too big for my little Harbor Freight ultrasonic unit. The citrus stuff took part of it off, but it seems like it's thicker or or more sticky on one side than the other. I had read about someone using acetone, but I was afraid what that might do to the plastic- I had a bad experience with acetone as a TT Newbie, I don't want to make that mistake again!
