Scaro that is a good Idea, but being the same Locomotive had differences between Countries. By the way Spain had Two Models the 316 (1600) and 318 (1800).
318 was longer few Cmts. than 316, and had a different Engine, more powerful. Other differents were that 316 had a only one driving Cabine (318 Two, Front and Rear) Two Front Searchlights (318 One) and a few more litttle. This only in Spanis DL-500, and for example Australian had other type of Grills.

About the Number of TTers, I don´t know other Countries, but I think that at Spain no more a Dozen

aside from a few details, south australia had very similar locos to both the 316:

you are right though in that the later 930s and all NSW Railways 100 DL500s had chicken wire grilles, which were less attractive.
